Description
A hand-held surgical instrument in the form of a tube with a perpendicular handle, designed to apply rotational force as opposed to direct torque force during tightening (locking) of screws or set screw head with a screwdriver inserted inside the hollow centre of the instrument during orthopaedic surgery. It can also be used to push (install) an orthopaedic rod into the slotted head of a screw that has been screwed into bone (e.g., a vertebra). It is usually made of high quality stainless steel or titanium alloy and synthetic materials. This product is designed to be reusable.
