The operation of the transducer is based on the vibration principle: the natural resonance frequency of the measuring tube changes depending on the density of the liquid passing through the density transducer.
From the measured value of the oscillation period the density of the liquid is calculated. The density transmitter provides continuous measurement in flow.
The output signal of the density transducer has a frequency form, which allows processing of measurement results with the use of measuring and computing equipment installed in a non-explosive zone.
