Linear Smoke Detector Explosion-Proof IP212-1VL for Fire Safety Applications

The fire detector smoke linear explosion-proof model IP212-1VL "Line" is designed to detect fires accompanied by smoke; transmission of alarm message "Fire" and "Malfunction" to receiving and control devices such as PPK-2, Signal-20P, etc. in fire protection systems for buildings and structures; transmission of alarm messages to an external PC (two-way communication) via RS-485 interface using ModBus protocol. The detector is designed for use in large-volume premises where atmospheric phenomena in the form of dust, rain and fog are known to be absent.

The detector consists of an explosion-proof transceiver PRMD, reflector and control unit CU (non-explosion-proof version). The transceiver is intended for use in hazardous areas of Class 1 and 2 premises, type of protection "flameproof enclosure". The control unit must be located in an explosion-proof area.

The detector has three thresholds of operation: 1,94dB (36%); 3,1dB (51%); 4,44dB (64%).
