Description

The KIC506 interface module is designed for use in highly reliable modular computing systems based on the CompactPCI Serial PICMG CPCI-S.0 3U standard. The module is a carrier for mezzanines based on miniPCIe boards. The module is equipped with an intelligent system of switching on, switching off and monitoring of mezzanine operation. The intelligent system can measure the module temperature to prevent it from starting outside the performance range, as well as monitor the values of supply voltages. One of the mezzanine slots can be converted from miniPCIe mode to mSATA mode to install an mSATA drive and run it over the SATA interface via the backplane connector.
