Description

The hobbing drive unit for CNC machines is designed to be installed in machining centres to enable hobbing, slotting, involute splines and other complex contouring operations. The CNC hobbing drive unit converts the rotary motion transmitted from the machining machine into a reciprocating motion of the drive unit slider (on which the cutting tool is mounted) to provide the main cutting motion.
