RIZUR-NMT-G series reed float level transmitter is a reed float level transmitter used for continuous level measurement of one or more liquid media, including aggressive media. RIZUR-NMT-G series is used in many industries: chemical, food, oil refining and others. Structurally the transmitter consists of an electronic block and a rigid sensitive element (SE).

Inside the sensing element there is a chain of reed switches and resistors. A float with a permanent magnet located inside it moves outside the CE. The float is made in such a way that it is always on the surface of the medium.

When the level of the controlled medium changes, the magnetic field of the float switches the reed switches and, as a consequence, the output resistance changes, which is directly proportional to the liquid level.
