ExOnChar Modular Charging and Rectifying Device for DC Power Supply

ZVU "ExOnChar" is a modular charging and rectifying device of the "ExOnSys" range, designed for power supply of DC consumers and charging of accumulator batteries at power stations and substations up to 750 kV. High power factor of "ExOnChar" IED allows to unload auxiliary transformers by reactive power during battery charging. Low noise emission ensures electromagnetic compatibility with sensitive AC consumers, and high PFC reduces auxiliary power supply costs. Placement of the rectifier modules of the "ExOnChar" ZVU on special shelves provides the possibility of free access for hot-swap, repair and maintenance. The necessary set of indication devices and the inbuilt monitoring system allow to quickly assess the state of the main parameters of the sounders.
