Weighing scales automotive electronic VA are designed for static weighing of loaded and empty vehicles (cars, trailers, semi-trailers, tanks, etc.), road trains, as well as any other cargoes, the size and design features of which allow to install them on the load-receiving platform (hereinafter - the GP), and the mass of which does not exceed the value of the maximum load of the scales.Structurally, the scales consist of a load-receiving device (hereinafter - the GPU) and a converter. GPU of the scales is a GP, supported by means of sensors on force-transmitting devices. GPU is a welded "frame" structure made of long steel bars, sheet metal profiles and pipes of various cross-sections made of structural steel or a concrete slab with embedded parts.

The scales GPU can consist of one or several GPUs. The transducer is located on a free-standing stand or on the wall (table).
