Description

The drum drives the belt on the conveyor, determines the direction of its movement and is responsible for tensioning.The design of the drive drum for belt conveyor is as follows:- cylinder-shaped shell,- shaft,- steel casting disc,- clamping clutch.Depending on the operating conditions, the drum can be additionally covered with protective materials (lining). Lining increases the performance of the belt conveyor due to better adhesion to the belt, protects the drum surface from mechanical damage. It can be made in the form of removable plates, made of ceramic or rubber-ceramic.

The lining can also be non-removable. It is made at the customer's request, taking into account the operating conditions of the equipment. Drive drums for belt conveyor can be manufactured according to both standard technical requirements and individual.
