DPD-ng(A)FRHFLTx Cable - High-Performance Modular Optical Fiber Application

The cable contains a core of modular construction with a central power element of dielectric rod, around which optical modules with freely laid fibres are twisted. The free space in the optical modules is filled with hydrophobic gel. The core is bonded by winding yarns with water-blocking property.

Additionally, a water blocking tape may be applied to the core. The core is covered with an intermediate sheath made of a polymer composition that does not spread combustion, does not emit corrosive gaseous products during combustion and smouldering, with low toxicity of combustion products. The intermediate sheath is spirally overlaid with armour made of fibreglass rods.
