The RS-4M bullet velocity recorder (hereinafter referred to as the device) is designed to measure the velocity of bullets (projectile, shot) of firearms and pneumatic weapons during ballistic examination and research. The operating principle of the device is based on measuring the time of bullet passage through the fixed length base formed by two photoelectric barrels. The device has a remote control panel connected to the sensor unit by a 10 m long cable
