Arc Fault Detection System KIT-ZDZ for Protecting Electrical Circuits

The complex is designed for:- detection of arc fault with the action in the circuit breaker tripping circuit;- minimisation or exclusion of destruction in cells and sections of switchgear;- determination of the place of arc fault occurrence with accuracy to a compartment or cell. The complex consists of the following hardware components: - microprocessor-based arc fault protection device KIT-ZDZ (hereinafter referred to as the device); - arc fault sensors (hereinafter referred to as the sensor). The following types of sensors can be used in the complex: - fibre optic point sensor VOD-T (hereinafter referred to as VOD-T sensor); - fibre optic loop sensor VOD-P (hereinafter referred to as VOD-P sensor); - fibre optic loop sensor VOD-P (hereinafter referred to as VOD-P sensor).
