The free ends of the pipes in the lower part (at the bottom, at the floor) have external plastic plugs, which at the same time fulfil the role of footrests, protecting the floor covering from damage. The metal frame has a dark grey, abrasion-resistant coating.

The metal frame has a welded construction. All parts of the metal frame of the student desk are made of 2525 mm profile pipe. The free ends of metal pipes under the table top have plastic plugs inside.
