Information system for the hearing impaired stationary "ISTOK" C1i (hereinafter referred to as information system, device) is designed to transmit audio information to persons with impaired hearing function, using hearing aids in the induction coil "T" mode.
The information system converts an acoustic signal (operator's speech) or an electrical audio signal (signal from any sound-producing devices) into an electromagnetic signal, which is received by the telecoil of the hearing aid. The transmitter of the electromagnetic signal is a fixed or portable induction loop. The stationary induction loop is placed around the perimeter of a room with an area of up to 25 m2 and the portable loop is placed directly in the hearing impaired person's location.
Places of application of this information system are households where the hearing impaired live or are located, event halls, cash registers....
