Silos with cone bottoms are used as universal storage not only in agriculture, but also in other industries where storage of bulk solids is required. Silos with cone bottoms can be installed as freestanding or can be included in the silos. This type of silo consists of:
- a volume cylinder;
- a roof part that prevents the ingress of precipitation;
- in addition to silo maintenance - ladders and hatches.
Cone-bottom silos are specially designed for operation with subsequent discharge by gravity, which does not require additional discharge systems. Basically this type of silos is used for temporary storage of the product before further start-up in the technological process. Due to the cone-shaped bottom design, these silos are suitable for storing difficult to bulk and even wet products.
We offer the production of two different types of silos:
- with a cone angle of 45 degrees
- with a cone angle of 60 degrees.
