Commodity scales BT 8908 are designed for static measurements of the weight of various cargoes. The principle of operation of the scales is based on the balance of unequal levers - one of them receives the load from the weighed load, and the second - from the scale weight moving on the scale.
Structurally, the scales consist of the following assembly units: frame, load-receiving platform, lever system, crown scale pointer and remote stand (for scales with a stand). The frame of the scales is the body of the scales, inside of which the lever mechanism is placed. The load-receiving platform is used to place the weighed load on it. The lever system transmits forces from the load-receiving platform to the scale pointer. The lever system transmits forces from the load-receiving platform to the scale pointer. The scales are available in various modifications, which differ in maximum capacity.
