It is used in security engineering complexes as a means of early detection and tracking of surface and ground targets, issuing target designation for optical-electronic surveillance equipment. Characteristics of the Neva-B radar system allow it to "work" on ultra-small targets and targets such as "swimmer's head", "man" in the near zone.
