Deep loosening to a depth of 30-35 cm destroys the plough sole and promotes moisture accumulation in the autumn-winter period.
Deep loosening to a depth of up to 45 cm is used in areas of high moisture content to divert water from the surface downwards to prevent soaking of the roots of cultivated plants. This is facilitated by a powerful square-section chisel, which forms a long-lasting mole hole at a depth of 45 cm.
